Chatham Lighthouse, erected in 1808, is located on Cape Cod - down near
"the tip of the elbow" if you look at a map. Directly across the street is a beautiful beach.
The lighthouse is automated now, working 24 hours which is a good thing as the powerful
currents and tides keep shifting the sands marking the channel entrance. This design
 can be painted on 13 or 18 mesh.
